With rising cases of COVID 19 in our country, it seems like we are reliving 2020. Many industry members and actors have been struggling with COVID. Vineet Kumar Singh, who was last seen in Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena, took to Twitter on Friday to share that he, his family, and friends are unwell with COVID-like symptoms in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. He also shared how they cannot be tested as local labs are crowded with many more cases.
Vineet Kumar shared on Twitter that responding to his appeal for help, actor Pankaj Tripathi sent him the medicines which were not available to him in Banaras
Tweeting in Hindi, Vineet shared, “I’m in Banaras. The drug (FabiFlu) is not available in the market. Private labs have been unable to perform the Covid test for five days. What should I give to the sick? Videos of your promises or your huge crowd rally, which you guys are constantly posting? Damn. Selfless blinds you. Wake up, the common man is dying.”
Vineet and Pankaj were seen together in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur and Pankaj’s Sultan shoots at Vineet’s Danish at one point in the movie.
Remembering their equation from the 2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur, Vineet added, “Jinhein sandeh hai, unhein batana chahta hoon ki mere parivar ke sadasya beemar hain, kuch mitra beemar hain aur mai khud bhi beemar hoon. Dawa mil gai. Madad karne ke liye dhanyawad Pankaj Tripathi. Mere kirdar ko Sultan ne Wasseypur me goli mari thi lekin asal jeevan mein goli (dawa) bhijwai hai. (I want to inform those who are confused, my family members, a few friends are unwell and even I am unwell. Got the medicine. Thanks to Pankaj Tripathi for his help. Sultan had shot my character in Wasseypur, but he sent medicine in real life).
On Saturday, Vineet shared a tweet thanking Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan and the state government.
