The Kashmir Files: Story Line
As we have mentioned, this film depicts the injustice that happened with the Kashmiri Hindu pandits during the time period 1989 to 1990.
The plot of this masterpiece switches between the contemporary period set in the year 2020 and flashbacks to the mentioned duration. The story is about a Kashmiri Hindu college student who was displaced in the exodus as his family was killed.
Then the child was raised by a schoolteacher who had witnessed death but kept the truth hidden from the children. After the death of his adoptive father, the student had come to believe that the exodus was being at college. He was driven to uncover the facts of his family’s deaths.
He later found out what the Kashmiri Hindu pandits had gone through. From 1989 to 1990, Islamic Militants stormed and also banished them from the Kashmir valley using the slogans that say;
“Raliv Galiv Ya Chaliv.”
It means either you convert to Islam, leave or die.

If you ask us, we will always ask you to go and watch this movie. This is a lifetime experience. We do not want to say much about the story as it is based on true events. But the presentation, direction, and of course the acting of all the cast deserve praise.
