The shoot for the Tamil feature PASUMAI VAZHI SALAI directed by Santhosh Gopal is progressing at a rapid pace. The team recently shot for close to a fortnight in various parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
One of the lead actors of the film Kishore and the team explored several locations and the team shot under extreme weather conditions near the Himalayan mountain region. Actor Kishore choose to drive his motorbike through the entire stretch braving all weather conditions. With one of the best fitness levels in the industry Actor Kishore , who has a great passion for farming in real life ,handled driving at -4deg centigrade with great elan.
The team further shot at the world renowned Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in Tibet. Further the team shot extensively in unexplored locations such as kardungla pass which is famously know as the world’s highest motorable pass.
The team also worked closely with the Indian army base station in Leh Ladakh on various special shooting permissions to cover aerial shots of various locations
The movie is set in the backdrop of the new proposed highways between Chennai and Salem.
The cast includes Kishore, Pasupathy and the music is handled by Justin Prabhakaran. The movie is produced by Nirupama under the banner of Sattva productions.
