Known for her impeccable acting skills, actress Samantha Akkineni has been grabbing headlines these days after she decided to drop her surname from her Twitter and Instagram handles. This name change sparked up the rumours that all’s not well between Samantha and her actor-husband Naga Chaitanya, son of actor Nagarjuna Akkineni. However, the actress has neither accepted nor denied such reports yet.

She recently got papped up at Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh where she got angry with a reporter for asking her to comment on rumours of her separation from Naga Chaitanya.

In the video which is going viral on social media, the actress could be seen leaving the temple when suddenly a reporter posed a question to her about her divorce. While expressing her anger and displeasure, Samantha lashed out at the reporter and said, “Gudiki vachanu. Buddhi unda (I have come to a temple. Don’t you have any sense?)”. watch full video –

Samantha and Chaitanya, famously called ChaySam by their fans, got married in 2017 in a lavish yet private wedding. As soon as she dropped the last name, the actor was heavily trolled on the social media platforms.

However, the couple has been rooting for each other’s work on social media with full gusto.

When Chaitanya posted a picture with Aamir Khan from the sets of his debut Hindi film ‘Laal Singh Chadha’, Samantha reposted it and gave it a shout out.

More recently, she retweeted the trailer of Chaitanya’s upcoming film ‘Love Story’ and called it a winner. Chaitanya too replied to the compliment from his wife and wrote: “Thanks Sam”.

Previously, the actress, who is still basking in the success of her latest web series starring Manoj Bajpayee, addressed these rumours in an interaction with an entertainment portal and said that people have been trolling her for the web series and then she was questioned for dropping her surname on social media. But she doesn’t feel the need to react to them as this is how she has always been.
