Russian Direct Investment fund and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories struck a deal for distribution of Sputnik V Coronavirus vaccine. RDIF said “It is just the beginning of this partnership, India will become a hub of vaccine manufacturing and will be providing medicine to other parts of the world.”
Russia is set to deliver 10 crore doses of the vaccine to India.
This tie up has become the talk of the internet. This is going to be a very important step towards curbing the Covid-19 virus in India. India has crossed the mark of 9 crore cases and has become one of the most affected countries on the global map.
Sputnik V vaccine is a life savior and the third level safety and security test will be conducted in association with Dr. Reddy’s lab. The RDIF said that the lab has been an unmatched history in the lab efficiency.
Russia became the first country in the world to have registered the vaccine.
The vaccine is going to be available in India by the year end, says Dr. Harshvardhan from the health ministry.
India was the one to make the first move in order to secure the top most priority list of Russia.
