Amitabh Bachchan’s recent appeal to the Madhya Pradesh government to reunite a police couple living in different cities didn’t fall on deaf ears.
While participating in Kaun Banega Crorepati(KBC), a traffic constable from Mandsaur had explained to the mega star about his plight that his wife was posted away in Gwalior and he was living alone in Mandsaur.who is also a constable in the same department, for over three years
Bachchan appealed, “Whoever is looking after the transfers in the state, should make sure that this couple is posted in one place. Please unite them, it won’t cost you anything.”
As soon as BJP MLA Yashpal Sisodiya from Mandsaur learnt about Vivek’s issue, he appealed to state chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and DGP through Twitter to unite the couple.

Finally on January 18, the Police headquarter(PHQ) released the transfer orders.Vivek’s wife has been transferred to the Narcotics department in Mandsaur. So that couple can live together.
The cop couple had also won a prize Rs 25 lakh in the show.
