A group of rescue workers freed an Indian Rock Python caught under the wheels of a car in Mumbai on Monday. On the Eastern Express Highway in the Maharashtra capital, the snake crawled under a car and accidentally entangled itself around one of the wheels.

A 10-feet-long python was seen slithering across Mumbai’s Eastern Express Highway. The python caused a heavy traffic jam at the highway on September 21 as car drivers and motorcyclists stopped to have a glimpse of it. Police officials, meanwhile, monitored the scenario. The entire incident has been caught on camera and the video was shared on Instagram by Viral Bhayani

The rescue team was summoned immediately by police officers as the car was parked on one side of the highway. Workers made an attempt to lift the car and free the python from the wheel of the vehicle and were ultimately successful.
Netizens applauded the team for saving the snake. The clip, in fact, has been widely circulated across social media and went viral soon after with thousands of views on Social Media.
