Akshay Kumar’s announcement of a release date for his upcoming film “Bachchan Pandey” has attracted widespread excitement. In a social media post on Tuesday, the 54-year-old said the movie will arrive in theatres during the festival of Holi on March 18, with users from best usa real money casinos looking forward to it.

The movie was earlier scheduled to be released on January 26 but owing to the surge in COVID-19 and Omicron cases, theatres in Delhi are shut since the end of December 2021. Many states like Kerala, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are running cinema halls at 50 per cent occupancy.
While other high-rates films like RRR and Jersey postponed their release dates during the early days of the year, Akshay said that Bachchan Pandey will be released.
Akshay had a massive hit with Sooryavanshi in 2021 and the film was credited by many trade analysts as the one that brought back the audience to the cinema halls. The film earned Rs 196 crore at the domestic box office, as per Bollywood Hungama.
Akshay has a long list of film releases this year. After Bachchan Pandey, he will be seen in Prithviraj, RakshaBandhan, Ram Setu, OMG 2 and Gorkha.
Directed by FarhadSamji, Bachchan Pandey also stars KritiSanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, PrateikBabbar among others. But there is unusual anxiety over Bachchan Pandey.

Storyline
Akshay sports two distinct looks. In one poster, he is seen donning a moustache and a lungi while in another he sports a bearded look with one blue eye.
The actor plays a gangster in the film who was previously a movie director and wants to be an actor. Akshay’s moustache sequences are reportedly set in flashbacks which will feature Jacqueline Fernandez opposite the actor.
The film is an action-comedy set in Rajasthan and KritiSanon will be seen playing a journalist in the movie in the present day. She hopes to be a director someday while Arshad Warsi plays a struggling actor.
