It seems to me Iraq was less of a threat under Saddam than it is now. Since Bush illegally invaded Iraq (which he set out to do since taking office, trying to find any excuse to do so), all these different factions have sprung up, ISIS/ISIL being the latest. Not to say that Saddam was a great leader, because I didn’t live in Iraq.
But at least Iraq was stable!
Saddam makes quite a few points in this video. Bush was one of if not the biggest liar in the world as no weapons were found, and no link was ever found between Saddam and Osama. And two its not hard to imagine them suffering abuse at the hands of the U.S. military or having valuables stolen.
