Filmmaker-choreographer Remo D’Souza has shared pictures of his wife Lizelle Remo D’Souza’s transformation and said that he is proud of her “impossible” achievement.
Remo D’Souza posted a photo of Lizelle D’Souza on instagram where her drastic transformation can be witnessed. Sharing the post, Remo wrote, “it takes a lot of hard work to get there , but the biggest battle is with yourself and I have see @lizelleremodsouza fighting that battle and achieving what was impossible I always use to say it’s your MIND , you have to make strong and Liz you DiD it so proud of you , you are stronger than me , you inspire me love you”.
The choreographer added, “The funny thing is that we barely remember the Woman on the left You are remarkable”.
While having a conversation with a media portal. Lizelle D’Souza said, In December 2018 I decided that it was high time I took things in my hands. I immediately messaged my trainer Praveen Nair and said that till you don’t make me lose weight, I will not accept that you are the best trainer. So, in January 2019, he started me off with intermittent fasting. Since I was travelling to London for the shoot of ‘Street Dancer’, I was dieting on the go and went off carbs too. I followed that for 15 hours and pushed it to 16 hours. Prashant’s wife Mehek was accompanying Shraddha (Kapoor), so she kept a close eye on my food. In the first year, I lost around 15-20 kilos.
In June 2020, we started pushing with weight training and diet. People started noticing a major change in my weight post June. Luckily we have a gym set up at home so I was working out during lockdown, too. I was weight training, doing intermittent fasting and eating all home-made food. Remo and I made it a point to take evening walks in our building compound. I pushed my intermittent fasting to 18-20 hours and would eat one meal a day. As for my cheat days, everyone is scared about it because they are like a feast for me. I don’t binge on pizzas and burgers but I am more for chaat, paani-puri and sindhi kadhi. I also do a Keto cheat wherein I call for a Keto ice-cream or a Keto pizza,Lizelle D’Souza added.
Lizelle often shares pictures and videos of herself with notes on her physical transformation. In July, she posted a video of herself from the gym. Earlier, Lizelle had shared a collage image of herself, showing the various stages of her journey towards getting fit.After so many struggles and strong will ,Finally Lizelle went from 105 kilos to 65kgs’.
Remo and Lizelle’s Post drew a lot of attention from their friends. ‘Wow superb Lizell,’ Jay Bhanushali exclaimed. Lizelle’s makeover astounded Varun Dhawan, who has worked with Remo on his ABCD franchise. The actor added, “Wow” with a heart-struck emoji in the comments section of the post. Aamir Ali expressed his admiration for Lizelle and described her progress as “outstanding’.
As for Remo’s work life, Salman Yusuf Khan, Punit Pathak, and Shakti Mohan will serve as judges on Remo’s sixth season of Dance+. From September 14 onwards, Disney+ Hotstar started streaming the reality dance show. Season 6 of Dance+ features three teams, each supervised by a celebrity mentor, including Shakti Mohan, Puneet J Pathak, or Salman Yusuff Khan.
