Rajni and Amitabh – Who will hit the Box Office??
Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth are good friends. But it looks like the box-office is going to witness a huge clash between these two titans this April. Yes, you read that right! Rajnikanth’s much awaited film Kochadaiiyaan will finally release on April 11 and it will clash with Big B’s upcoming film, Bhootnath Returns, which is also releasing on the same day.
However, this ain’t the first time that these two superstars will clash at the BO. If you will remember, in 2007, Sr Bachchan‘s Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (JBJ) and Rajinikanth’s Shivaji The Boss were released on the same day. While JBJ failed to get the cash registers ringing, Shivaji went on to become a super-duper hit.
So will the history repeat itself? It’s highly possible, we must say. After all, Kochadaiiyaan is set for massive release in 6000 screens worldwide, which is reportedly the highest ever recorded. Not to forget, Rajni is literally worshipped across the world by his fans.
