The Reply From This Guy Shocks The Northeast Indian Girl

Chinki is a name often used in India to call people who posses a set of oriental eyes.

SA BAI is a dish from Mizoram, a state in the northeastern part of India.

But why do we care about the latter? This short film traces the journey of a north eastern girl who is questioned about her roots by a stranger only to be proven wrong.

Is it the way we look actually determine our existence or can this racial profiling can be done away with?

Dedicated to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

A Short Film By Joel Thottan, Manish Khushalani, Gaurav Dharmani and Debdeep Mukherjee.
