The film is being produced by KS Sreenivasan’s Vaasan Visual Ventures who earlier produced films like Naan Kadavul and Boss Engira Bhaskaran. The film’s soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.

Ravi plays a revolutionist for a social cause. It received ‘A’ certificate from Central Board of Film Certification because of many inappropriate scenes. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu as Janda Pai Kapiraju with Nani replacing Jayam Ravi.
