Karikalan is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film directed by L. I. Kannan featuring Vikram and Zarine Khan in the lead roles. The film which has been reported as a “period cum contemporary drama” has been delayed and continues to be shot from March 2013. It is going to be released in Telugu as Veerudu.
