After an excruciating wait for eight months due to COVID-19, the 2020 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has finally got its two finalists.
The Qalandars defeated the Multan Sultans in the second eliminator on Sunday to book their spot in the final to be played on November 17.
David Wiese was the topic of discussion for his all-round display for the Qalandars. However, what stole the limelight was pacer Haris Rauf, who picked up three crucial wickets during his four-over spell and one of them being of legendary Shahid Afridi.
The moment the bowler got Afridi out was what got netizens talking. The all-rounder had come to bat after the fall of Rilee Rossouw’s wicket in the 14th over, Haris Rauf had other plans as he steamed in and bowled a sensational in-swinging Yorker at 145.9 kph to shatter Afridi’s middle stump.

Interestingly, after bowling such an unplayable delivery, he straightaway folded his hands to apologies to former Pakistan cricketer.
Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar too tweeted about the incident and said, “Gesture of respect by @HarisRauf14 to legendary @SAfridiOfficial after bowling him out first ball!! @lahoreqalandars reaches the final to play against @KarachiKingsARY. Big final is coming.
It was a great and unplayable yorker Haris very well bowled! Please bowl slow to me next time 😜 congratulations to Qalandars for final berth. Look forward to an exciting match tomorrow. Thank you Sultans fans for supporting us throughout the season. https://t.co/GySOxr43ov
