Chandi is a Telugu Film directed by V. Samudra starring Priyamani who earned National Film Award for Best Actress, Supreme Star R. Sarathkumar, the president of the South Indian Film Artistes’ Association, Ashish Vidhyarthi who won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and Rebel Star Krishnam Raju in the lead role, Scarlett Wilson as Item number and Ali, MS Narayana as key comedians.

The film was formally launched in 31 January 2013, with its principal photography beginning on 30 October 2012. Filming was held for more than eight months and took place primarily across Hyderabad, Rajamundry and Bangkok, Thailand. The movie, which was supposed to hit screens on first week of October 2013, has been postponed due to the political unrest in Andhra Pradesh, and finally hitting screens on 08 Nov 2013
