Argentina soccer legend Diego Maradona died yesterday after suffering from a heart attack. He was 60 and according to sources, suffered from “acute secondary lung edema to exacerbated chronic heart failure,”.
The legend passed away on Wednesday and the death was confirmed by the Argentine Football Association on Twitter via their official Twitter profile.

While he was also surrounded by notoriety, rumos, drugs and alcoholism, the soccer lovers around the world forgave him and chanted in the stadium once that they forgive him and he was just standing there, mesmerized with the mic and hands folded around his chest. He said “ I was wrong and I paid for it”, “The ball is not stained” and the stadium sang it’s forgiveness. This apology made him win the hearts of his fans all over again.
Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez took to twitter and tweeted “You took us to the top of the world. You made us feel incredibly happy. You were the greatest of all. Thank you for having existed,”. He announced a three days mourning on passing away of the legend and whom he calls a superstar. Meanwhile Alexander Čeferin tweeted “He will go down in history as someone who set football alight and thrilled fans young and old with his brilliance and skill,”
